Major Events / Achievements:

  1. Sharab Bandi Jagrukta Karyakram: This impactful campaign, initiated by the organization in Bihar in March 2011, significantly raised health awareness against the use of liquor, leading to positive changes in the community. Till 2019, on annual basis, we successfully cover 15 districts of Bihar and organized awareness camps. During the process, we collaborated with many academic and social institutions like schools, colleges, and universities across Bihar for promoting a liquor-free society and a safe social environment, especially for women.
  2. CLEAN Pro India: The Cleanliness Learning and Environmental Education Program, launched on October 2, 2014, was a significant and crucial initiative. It aimed to promote Swachhata Abhiyan awareness, particularly in uneducated sections of society, including slums and rural areas. Till now (2023), we have covered five states (Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh) under this awareness program.
  3. Sakhi (Stop Violence Centre): This program was focused on mental health counseling for women who were suffering from any form of domestic violence. In October 2015, we initiated it in the Bhojpur district (Bihar) for two sessions (2015 and 2016). Initially, this program was designed to be a two-day counseling-cum-consultation session. Later, in March 2017, when it was organized in Hazaribagh in Jharkhand, we extended it to a five-day session. More than 70 women participated and benefitted. In February 2018, we organized these counseling sessions for three days in Sambalpur (Odisha) where more than 50 women visited the center. This ‘Sakhi’ program was one of the very successful programs of our institution, and we assessed it as after this program, often people recognized our organization with the name of ‘Sakhi’.
  4. Elderly Health Camp: Initiated in May 2015, this program was a crucial step towards providing free health checkup services to the elderly, especially those belonging to low social and income groups. Under this program, till October 2023, we have covered three districts of three different EAG states. These places were Sitamadhi in Bihar (2015), Dinajpur in West Bengal (2017), and Kodarma in Jharkhand (2022). Despite the pandemic, these health camps were resumed in 2022, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to the cause.
  5. SKYP: (Skill Development for Youth Population) This program, launched by the organization on September 5, 2022, has expanded to three different regions of India (Sitamadhi in Bihar, Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh, and Deoghar in Jharkhand) till the end of 2023. We provide opportunities to needy women and unemployed youth to develop their skills and promote self-employment (based on local resources), thereby extending our impact to more communities.
